Sikorsky S-97 Composite Structure Design and Fabrication

Composite aerostructure design and tooling/manufacturing design. The aircraft structure was designed and built by my team of 12 engineers in 18 months. The vehicle was then test flown by Sikorsky and broke the helicopter speed record.


Commercial Product Development

Smart Hardware UAV Design

Custom UAV design for a specific payload and use case. It encompassed several unique features at the time including “smart parts” which could be swapped out and automatically recognized by the flight computer to optimize the power system for efficiency, heavy lift, or high speed.


Promotional products

3D Printed interactive Powerplant model

Model was developed to support an energy company campaign to communicate the various new technologies in their facility using lights and audio. The model was created, printed, painted, and the electronics developed.


Community Philanthropy

Empower 2 Make - Developing enabling tech

Developed and ran annual event which brings together teams of engineers and designers with people having special needs. The program developed new tools and technologies for people to enable them to be more independent and successful in their daily lives.


Educational programs

Firepit welding class

Hands on class to teach welding, sheet metal fabrication, and metal shop tool usage. Developed project design, syllabus, and instruction.
